Chalets Johanna and Elangeni operate a Sunday changeover, giving you a much quieter and economical choice for travelling with the extra bonus of skiing on a Saturday, the quietest day of the week on the slopes.

Chalet Sophie operates a Saturday changeover, giving you a greater choice of flights and the opportunity to travel to the slopes by Eurostar.

By Air:

There are four airports which are easily accessible to La Tania: Chambery (1 hour 20 minutes transfer), Grenoble and Geneva (2 hours 15 minutes transfer) and Lyon (2 hours 30 minutes transfer).

Numerous car hire companies operate from the airports which can be booked very easily online.

By Road:

The Alps can be an easy nine hour drive from Calais on the French motorways. The route is motorway ALL the way from Calais to Moutiers (20 minutes from La Tania), and is quiet compared to British motorways with regular services roughly every 20 miles.

From Calais take the autoroute A26 (Blue signs/toll roads) initially follow Paris then - Reims - Troyes - Lyon.

Just before Lyon pick up signs for Grenoble then Chambery - Albertville - Moutiers - Courchevel - La Tania.

On your return it is even easier; follow signs for Lyon - Paris - Lille/Calais.
