Video of La Tania from the Tourist Office

We love La Tania Tourist Office’s promotional video. Click for a little tour around the resort we call ‘home’! La Tania is the best-kept secret in the 3 Valleys. It was developed for the Albertville Olympics of 1992  and it is where Alpine Escape was born in 2004.

In the video, you will see Alpines Escape’s luxury chalets nestled in the forest just above the village centre. Parents start their holiday by dropping their youngest child at the Garderie (creche) located by the lift station. They drop their other child at ski school with ESF. All the ski schools meet in the centre of the village and end their morning and afternoon lessons there too. Beginners will stay in the village using the free Trokia button lift before progressing to the higher slopes. Green, blue and red runs wind down through the pine forest and lead back to the village centre and via Alpine Escape chalets for those who want to get straight back for afternoon tea!

For non-skiers, there are also paths through the forest to walk up the mountain but don’t forget to hire some show shoes so you don’t sink! If you make it to our favourite mountain restaurant  Le Bouc Blanc you can then take the bubble back down to the village or of course have your mountain adventure the other way round and take the bubble up to the Bouc Blanc for a hot chocolate or plat du jour before donning your snowshoes and make your way down the snowy mountain path back to La Tania.

The video story of the La Tania secret finishes with apres ski in the Ski Lodge with beers, vin chaud and live music

La Tania is a wonderful community of locals, workers and residents and for the winter season, December – April, thousands of skiers are welcomed to enjoy their holiday and keep the secret!
