Which resort – Courchevel La Tania or Le Praz?
Would Courchevel Le Praz, with its winding backstreets, chic French feel and numerous fantastic restaurants suit your group? Or perhaps friendly La Tania with its chocolate-box chalets and tree-lined slopes would be a better option…
What’s best for us, a catered or self-catered chalet?
Sometimes our guests find it difficult to decide whether to opt for a catered or self catered chalet. It really depends on what you’re looking for in a ski holiday:
If you’re tempted by the luxurious idea of having a chef create restaurant-standard evening meals, yummy breakfasts each morning and a daily afternoon tea waiting for you when you get back to the chalet after skiing, then catering is most definitely for you! Our chefs and hosts will serve your canapés, pour you a glass of wine, tidy up the kitchen and stack the dishwasher, meaning that you can make the most of your holiday time and really relax. Yes, it’s indulgent, but that doesn’t mean it’ll break the bank – a catered chalet holiday works out as great value when you consider what is included within your holiday.
Gone are the days when self-catering means lots of housework on top of ski time! We applied a little Alpine Escape luxury to our self-catered service, meaning that you can still make the most of your time on the mountain and propping up the bar! We can help you out with our shopping service, wine delivery and lift passes which will all be awaiting your arrival in the chalet. Our housekeeper will pop in every day to keep the chalet tidy for your return, and our concierge can help you with restaurant bookings or ordering homemade meals which you can just pop in the oven when you’re ready to eat. Self-catering Alpine Escape style offers you the freedom of flexibility.
