About Us

Alpine Escape Boutique Chalets

Alpine Escape is a specialist ski chalet company based in the resort of Courchevel.

Jo and Neil Williams founded Alpine Escape in 2003 and are still running the show today! They have always believed in going the extra mile for their guests as well as their team, and that ethos is the foundation of their success. The business has grown steadily and adapted to suit the evolving needs and expectations of chalet guests.

“Weโ€™re very lucky to have many guests returning regularly to us, and we hope that those little touches of luxury are what keep them coming back: they know theyโ€™re in for a fantastic week in a beautifully-maintained and decorated chalet, being looked after by our friendly and reliable team.

And on top of that, they’ll be skiing in the incredible Three Valleys!

Of course we wouldnโ€™t be anywhere without our fab team. Itโ€™s the hosts, drivers and chefs who make a good holiday into a great one and weโ€™re very appreciative of the hard work put in every year to go that extra mile and make the differenceโ€ฆ”

Our commitment to sustainability

At Alpine Escape, we recognise that we have a responsibility not just to our team and our guests, but also in keeping our home โ€“ your holiday destination โ€“ a beautiful place to be.

We are constantly trying to find ways to reduce our waste and minimise our environmental impact whilst retaining the levels of service our guests expect from their Alpine Escape holiday.

Here are some of the actions we have taken so far:

  • To avoid disposable water bottles, when you arrive in your chalet you will be given your own refillable water pouch to fill up with pure alpine tap water during your stay, and to take home with you afterwards.
  • Coffee โ€“ we know that our guests enjoy a really good coffee (as do we in the office!) so we are gradually changing our Nespresso pod machines to bean-to-cup machines and using fair trade coffee beans.
  • You wonโ€™t find a resort information folder any more, but all the information you need is accessible via a QR code displayed in the chalet, eg. wine list, maps, restaurants, resort informationโ€ฆ
  • Instead of supplying disposable slippers for each guest, you can either help yourself from the chalet basket, or better still: bring your favourite pair from home.
  • We have switched to refillable bathroom products, and have chosen the gorgeous brand Bramley as our supplier.
  • Giving back: in the last years we have donated to War Child, BBC Children in Need and Red Nose Day. We have also recently participated in local community action such as sending supplies to Ukraine as well as helping fund a skate bowl project for local kids.
  • Our staff are trained in local recycling policies and waste is separated by hand and recycled.
